Site work for a water / sewer project in Peoria, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The proposed improvement consists of constructing storm sewer outfall improvements and erosion control components across twelve (12) distinct sites within the City of Peoria. Improvements typically consist of removing failed components, installing stormwater diversion and inlet structures, installing storm sewer and manholes, providing components to ensure outfall stability, and utilizing erosion control measures in areas of steep slope, concentrated flow, or disturbance. All proposals must be accompanied by cash, certified check, cashier s check, or a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond for the full amount of the contract, with sureties, to be approved by the City Stormwater Engineer. Compliance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act is required under this contract. The City of Peoria reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals.
