Site work for a mixed-use development in Farmington, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a residential development; and water / sewer project.

Each BID must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Public Works Director and must be plainly marked as 2025 Plumbing Install External Sewer Grinder Pumps or External Groundwater Sump Pumps at Selected Residences and bear the bidders name and address on the outside of the sealed envelope. If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the BID must be enclosed in another envelope addressed to the Public Works Director, 101 South Jefferson Street, Farmington, Missouri, 63640. All BIDS must be made on the BID FORM in the contract included in the bid package, with all blank spaces for BID prices filled in, in ink or typewritten, fully completed and executed when submitted. One (1) copy of the BID FORM is required. A bid is invalid if it has not been deposited at the designated location prior to the time and date for receipt of bids or fails to include any addenda which may be issued. Bids received by facsimile or e-mail will not be considered valid. Question Deadline 06/10/2025 Every such request for interpretation shall be made in writing via e-mail to llacy@farmington-mo.gov and shall be made not less than five business days prior to the scheduled bid opening. These specifications require the furnishing of supplies, machinery, equipment, tools, superintendence, labor, insurance, and other accessories and services necessary to install sewer grinder pumps or groundwater sump pumps outside of the foundation of selected residences in accordance with the conditions and Specifications as directed by the City and the 2015 International Plumbing Code. The residences at 213, 217, and 225 Oak Street are having recurring sewer backups, and the City of Farmington seeks to provide a sewer grinder pump to help alleviatethe situation. The grinder pumps and basins will be provided by the City. Incidental piping necessary to connect the grinder pump to the existing sewer lateral will be provided by the contractor. The provision of electric for the grinder pump will be provided by another contractor. After the grinder pumps described above are satisfactorily completed, selected properties in the Smith Subdivision will have an external groundwater sump pump installed to stop groundwater from the perimeter drain from being discharged into the City's sanitary sewer system.
