City of Port Orchard (CITY) is soliciting Statements of Qualification from qualified A&E Professional Services Consultants (CONSULTANT) with expertise in street, structural, geotechnical, and hydraulic design, and construction phase consulting. Following fish passage improvement upstream by the Stetson Heights development and downstream by the State at SR16, the City was successful in obtaining grant DOE grant funding for fish passage under Sidney Road at Ruby Creek. A fish passage open box culvert or bridge is proposed. The Work to be performed by the CONSULTANT consists of providing to the City, services to include; 1) Civil design including roadway, box culvert/ bridge, and utility design and coordination (PS&E) 2) Geotechnical and creek hydraulic design 3) Environmental permitting and cultural resource review 4) Easement Acquisition 5) Future services may include construction phase support Services include oversight on the CITY's behalf to be completed in accordance with Department of Ecology critical area requirements, City of Port Orchard Public Works Engineering Standards, and all applicable regulations.
