Roanoke County is soliciting the purchase, delivery, and installation of emergency generators The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to procure the Purchase, Delivery & Installation of Emergency Generators. The County of Roanoke, on behalf of the Roanoke County Board of Supervisors (hereinafter referred to as "Owner"), invites any qualified Bidder to respond to this IFB by submitting a Bid for such work, service, and/or items consistent with the terms and conditions herein set forth. The County will review each bid and may elect to issue separate awards to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder(s) for such goods/services. This procurement is for the purchase, delivery, installation, and commissioning of three (3) new emergency power propane generators and three (3) new automatic transfer switches, as well as the removal and disposal of three (3) current generators and three (3) current transfer switch units". Questions : All questions must be submitted before 5:00 p.m., June 3, 2025. If necessary, an addendum will be issued and posted electronically. If proposals are hand delivered or mailed, send directly to the Purchasing Division at the address listed. If the Roanoke County Administration Building is closed for business at the time scheduled for the bid opening, the sealed bid will be accepted and opened on the next business day of the County, at the originally scheduled hour. The County reserves the right to cancel this IFB and/or reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in any proposal. This section is to be completed by the Offeror and this page must be returned with the bid. In compliance with this Invitation for Bid and subject to all terms and conditions imposed herein, which are hereby incorporated herein by reference, the undersigned offers and agrees to furnish the services and/or items requested in this solicitation if the undersigned is selected as the successful Bidder. No Bid may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days after Bid opening except for clerical errors, as set forth in part (1) of Section 2.2-4330(B), Virginia Code, 1950, as amended. Notices of bid withdrawal must be submitted in writing to the Purchasing Division. The Successful Bidder shall start the performance of any resultant Contract as fixed by a notice to proceed given by the Owner to the Successful Bidder and fully and completely perform the Contract within 90-120 consecutive calendar days after such date, all in accordance with the Contract provisions.
