The Contractor performing work under this contract shall possess one or more of the following California Contractors licenses: C-61, Limited Specialty, C-27, Landscape Specialty and a D-49, Tree Specialty, which are valid in the State of California at the time the contract is awarded. Lastly, the Contractor must be able provide a minimum three-person crew at each work site. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. This contract is for furnishing labor and equipment necessary to support watershed vegetation maintenance & trails maintenance. The work to be completed is located within multiple locations on the Mt Tamalpais Watershed within the County of Marin, California. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. The prevailing rate of wages in the locality in which work is to be performed has been ascertained by the District and published under the provisions of Section 1773 of the California Labor Code. The Bidder must include a certified check, cash, cashier's check or bid bond executed by an admitted surety authorized by the California State Department of Insurance to transact business in California as a guarantee that the Bidder will, if successful, promptly execute a satisfactory contract and furnish bonds as required by these specifications. The certified check, cash cashier's check or bid bond shall be not less than ten (10) percent of the total amount of the bid and shall be payable to the Marin Municipal Water District. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the attention of the Office of Purchasing, with the words "BFFIP Vegetation Maintenance 2025 - 2028 - CONTRACT NO 2050 - JUNE 26, 2025" clearly marked on the outside of the envelope.
