The Berkeley campus of the University of California requests that interested firms submit written statements of qualifications to provide onsite coordinator (OSC) services for the Bancroft Student Housing Building Project. The University of California, Berkeley (UCB) is constructing Bancroft Student Housing Building ("Project") on the parcel bounded by Bancroft Way, Fulton Street, Durant Avenue and the UCB Aquatic Center. The Project will be approximately 350,000 gross square feet and include approximately 1,619 student beds in a residence hall configuration-comprising triples, doubles and singles, plus five staff apartments. A cluster style shared bathroom configuration will support groups of units. The Project also includes a dining facility, designed to seat approximately 500 people and program space to support student residential living, inclusive of laundry facilities, meeting spaces, offices and additional space for staff and operations. The selected Onsite Coordinator will assist the Capital Projects Project Manager in coordinating the remainder of the preconstruction and construction phases of the project. The selected Onsite coordinator shall collaborate closely with the Office of Capital Projects on issues including, but not limited to, problem solving, university standards, policy compliance and project organization. The initial need is for one individual. Submitting firms should propose an individual as OSC, but Capital Projects will determine final staffing and relationships. Submitting firms should demonstrate experience of the individual being proposed in coordinating similar projects. Deadline for questions: no later than 2:00p.m. Pacific, 18/June/2025.
