** As of June 10, 2025, project was awarded to Foster Marine Contractors, Inc., awarded amount is $3,999,195 ** The work to be done consists of, but is not limited to: traffic control; environmental protections; rehabilitation of storm drain culverts by open trench, and cured-in-place pipe lining; installation of pre-cast drainage inlets; installation of custom, cast-in-place drainage inlets and concrete aprons; cast-in-drilled hole piers; slope stabilization and slide repairs with rip rap; erosion mitigation; reinforced concrete retaining walls; minor concrete; removal and disposal of pavement surfaces and base materials; aggregate base; hot-mix asphalt; removal and replacement of guardrail; and asphalt berms. Each proposal must be accompanied by an unconditionally certified or cashier's check or bid bond made payable to the City of Berkeley, and such check or bond shall be in an amount equal to at least 10% of the amount of the bid.
