Renovation of a fire / police facility in Bradley, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Project Description: repairs to an existing, exterior 26 riser metal pan stair and two landing system. Repairs include demolishing the existing concrete stair treads and steel risers and replacing in kind. The two landings will also have their concrete and steel pan removed and replaced. The stair stringers, supports, and railings are to remain and be re-painted. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work: 1. General Contract (all trades). Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
