No bids received on this project ** The City of Bluefield ("City") is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified firms for structural repairs and installation of a new standing-seam metal roof on the historic Davidson House, located at 1780 Stadium Drive, Bluefield, WV. The successful Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, materials, permits, and incidentals to complete the work specified herein. Question Deadline 07/01/2025 at 12:00 PM ET All questions should be done in writing via email (rshowalter@bluewv.org) to Rick Showalter, Parks and Rec Director. Please put Question: RFP #25-0708 in the subject line. Please have all questions submitted no later than noon All offerors shall abide by all applicable State and Federal laws. The City of Bluefield will afford full opportunity for minority business enterprises to submit a show of interest in response to this invitation and will not discriminate against any interested firm or individual on the grounds of race, creed, sex, age, handicap, or national origin in the contract award. Each bidder must be an Equal Opportunity Employer as defined by Federal and State laws and the Code of West Virginia 5-11-2. The City of Bluefield reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to negotiate with the successful offeror(s).
