Demolition, site work and addition to a municipal facility in Covington, Georgia. Completed plans call for the addition of a municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

The Newton County Water and Sewerage Authority (NCWSA) plans to design and construct an Administration Building Expansion Project to improve accessibility, expand workspace and increase meeting space and expand workspace to accommodate approximately 100 people for public meetings and Board meetings. The scope of work of the CMAR will be performed in two or more phases under a single contract with contract amendments, as needed, for successive project phases. Phase I Services (the Pre-Construction Phase) will include design and constructability reviews, cost estimating and cost control (value engineering) services, project schedule development, procurement strategy development, and the preparation and submission of an open-book GMP, including the firm cost of the work through construction commissioning, start-up and the warranty period. Phase II Services, including the construction phase (and additional phases, as deemed appropriate), will include the CMARs procurement, award, construction and construction management of principal and specialty trade contracts and subcontracts to provide construction, start-up, commissioning, operator training, performance testing, and warranty services necessary for the Project implementation. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
