Scope of Work The work to be performed and provided under this Contract shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, safety equipment, permitting, erosion and sedimentation control measures, taxes, profit, overhead, and other costs and effort required to complete the following: Project Location: The project is located at the City of Covington Land Application Facility (LAS), 11085 Flat Shoals Road, Covington, GA 30016. Work includes improvements along an existing gravel access road within the facility. Culvert Replacement: Remove approximately 65 linear feet of existing 54-inch corrugated metal pipe (CMP) culvert and install approximately 60 linear feet of new 60-inch HDPE culvert with concrete headwalls. Demolition: Remove the existing gravel access drive and headwall. Cut one existing 6-inch pipe. Access Drive Reconstruction: Reconstruct the gravel access drive following culvert installation, including grading and stone surfacing. Quick Connection Installation: Install a 6-inch force main hose connection with associated fittings and valves. Erosion and Sediment Control: Install and maintain temporary erosion control measures, including silt fence, check dams, rip rap, and construction exits. Stabilize disturbed areas following construction. The time allotted for final completion of work is 60 consecutive calendar days.
