Description

Renovation and addition to a medical facility in Covington, Georgia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 4,000-square-foot medical facility; and for the addition of a 10,000-square-foot medical facility.

The Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC), as Owner, on behalf the Technical College System of Georgia Using Agency or (TCSG), is seeking firms interested in providing Design Professional Services for a project known as Project No.428 GAP Simulated Training Hospital / Allied Health Building, Georgia Piedmont Technical College, Covington, Georgia. Question Deadline 07/30/2025 The deadline for submission of questions relating to the RFQ is the time and date shown in the Schedule of Events shown above. All relevant and significant questions that have been submitted in writing prior to the deadline will be compiled, and answers will be posted to online. Questions from Design Professionals about any aspect of the RFI, or the project, shall be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferable) to the Point of Contact on the Project Fact Sheet. The Design Professional's services are anticipated to commence by October of 2025 with construction documents anticipated for completion in March/April 2026. The start of construction is contingent on the availability of funding. However, TCSG is targeting a construction start date of June 2026. (All of the dates above are estimates which are subject to change). The construction duration to reach to material completion is estimated to be 10 to 12 months.
