The City of New Buffalo desires to install new HVAC equipment in the Police Department and Fire Department located at 224 W Buffalo Street and 35 N Harrison St, New Buffalo, MI 49117 respectively. This project will replace the existing furnace and air conditioning units, that may be incorrectly sized and balanced. The city requests all bidders evaluate the proper needs of the building on site and in person. Bids that do not meet minimum requirements may or may not be considered. All exceptions must be listed. Vendors are required to submit two (2) copies of hard-copy bids. The Proposer shall include in its proposal, at a minimum, the information outlined below in a manner which demonstrates the Proposer's competence and qualifications for the satisfactory performance of the services identified in this Request for proposal ("RFP"). The Proposer shall attach four separate exhibits, as described below, to the cover letter proposal: o Statement of Qualifications including references. o Project Pricing. o Detailed equipment specifications. The bidder must furnish proof of General Liability Insurance Certificate and proof of Worker's Compensation to the City of New Buffalo. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: 1. The City of New Buffalo is exempt from Federal excise taxes and State sales taxes. 2. The City of New Buffalo purchasing policy will apply to bid process. The City of New Buffalo reserves the right to accept any, reject any, or reject all proposals submitted. The City is not obligated to award any contract for services to a firm that submits a proposal. The City will select the proposal which it deems to be in the best interest of the City. The City will not be responsible for or reimburse any cost the firm incurs during the RFP process.
