Site work for a water / sewer project in New Buffalo, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of installing a bulk water filling station at the Township Water Department facility. The project includes the construction of a drive, providing necessary utility services, installing the bulk water filling station, associated site work and various appurtenances. A certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Michigan payable without condition to the OWNER or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company, in an amount equal to 5 percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price. Bond forms are included in the Contract Documents. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding. The use of local contractors and labor is encouraged.
