Site work and renovation of a library in Greenwich, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library; and for site work for a library.

**As of August 20, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The Town of Greenwich is not currently accepting electronic bids/proposals. Please refer to the RFB/RFP document submission instructions. The contractor shall install a Modern Composite Privacy Fence - Graine with 8ft x 6ft inground post with a color to be determined. The length of the fencing is to be 524 ft. At the 320 ft mark, an entry gate is to be installed to allow access from private property to the library property. All posts shall be set and centered in concrete foundations (3,000 psi min.). All work shall be performed to the standards of the fencing industry/trade. It is the intent and purpose to include everything necessary for the thorough and satisfactory completion of any work required, although each item or method of execution may not be specifically mentioned. The contractor will be responsible for site protection. The contractor shall be responsible for demolishing the existing fencing and disposing of all debris off-site in an approved disposal area. The contractor shall be responsible for the cost of demolition and disposal. Any construction debris such as wire clippings, excess concrete, etc., from the work site will be removed from the property daily. Debris will not be deposited in trash cans at the work site. The contractor will be proactive in identifying areas that may require clearing prior to the start of the work. Areas that may be disrupted must be brought to the Town's attention and must be agreed to. Any damage to trees, root systems, etc., will be the vendor's responsibility to stabilize at the project's end. The contractor shall be responsible for obtaining the Building Permit for the fencing replacement and related work. The permit fee for the fencing shall be paid by the contractor and submitted for reimbursement by the Town of Greenwich. Any drawings required for filing shall be furnished by the contractor. The Town of Greenwich reserves the right to reject any and all bids not deemed to be in the best interest of the Town, or to accept that bid which appears to be in the best interest of the Town. The Town reserves the right to waive any and all informalities, or to reject any or all bids or any part of any bid. Question Deadline 07/10/2025 at 11:00 AM ET
