The project will consist of placing new waterlines via both open trench methods and Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD). Bores will be 3-inch and 8_inch HDPE pipe with coupling transitions back to C900 pipe. The project also includes installation of Pit-less Adapter at Well #1. In addition, the project work consists of installing vaults, manholes, valves, tie-ins, and appurtenances, erosion control, earthwork, and all appurtenances as specified and required for a complete and functional system. The project will install approximately 685 linear feet of new 3-inch HDPE DR 17, 5,440 lineal feet of 8_inch HDPE DR 17, 30 lineal feet of 4_inch PVC C900 and 20 lineal feet of 8_inch PVC C900. The base-bid for the project assumes HDD construction for most of the pipelines. All materials as indicated on the drawings will be provided by the contractor and must be installed, along with the completion of all associated site work relating to the new waterlines.
