The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: new construction and renovation of a 2,216-square-foot water/sewer project. As of August 27, 2025, a general contractor has not yet been selected for this project; however the project has a bid date of September 9, 2025. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released. A bid guarantee (bond) is NOT required. Only written questions will be accepted for this solicitation. Description: Bureau of Reclamation (BOR), Interior Region 8: Lower Colorado Basin, Hoover Dam has a Phase 1 construction and remodel requirement of the Security Response Force (SRF) Facility located near the Hoover Dam. This project is to address urgent deficiencies that impact mission readiness and operational safety. This phase includes the construction of a new Security Control Center that meets federal safety, accessibility, and operational continuity standards. It also involves replacing the current inadequate armory with a secure, code-compliant facility designed for tactical equipment and weapons storage. Additionally, the historic relay house will be renovated to meet modern codes while preserving its historical integrity, supporting SRF administrative and operational functions. Phase 1 will also include essential site improvements and serves as a foundational step toward fully modernizing the SRF facilities in Phase 2.
