Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Springfield, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The project, Folwell Station Road Phase II Base Bid #1 includes approximately 5,600 SY of milling, 900 tons of bituminous surface course paving of roadways, selective base repair, selective bituminous driveway apron replacement, traffic striping, and related appurtenances. The project, Beechwood Lane Alternate Bid No. 1 includes approximately 3,410 SY of milling, 400 tons of bituminous surface course paving of roadways, selective base repair, selective bituminous driveway apron replacement, traffic striping, traffic signage replacement, and related appurtenances. The project, 155 Warner Road Alternate Bid No. 2 includes drainage improvements for the site. Each bid must be accompanied by the documents listed on the Bid Document Submission Checklist and a proposal guarantee in the form of a certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the Total Price Bid in the proposal; except that when the Total Price Bid is $200,000.00 or more, the amount of the proposal guarantee shall be $20,000.00. In no case shall the guarantee be less than $500.00. The Township of Springfield reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive any insignificant defect or informality in any bid should it be in the interest of the Township to do so as allowed by law.
