Bidders must be prequalified by the New Jersey Division of Property Management and Construction in Trade Category C032 (HVACR). Bid documents may be obtained for a non-refundable fee of $100. All technical questions should be directed to LAN Associates (Attention: Mr. Marco Menendez, PE). A strongly recommended pre-bid conference will be held for reviewing the scope and addressing bidder questions. Bids must be sealed and submitted to the Office of the School Business Administrator/Board Secretary of the Springfield Township Board of Education by the designated date and time. Bidders must comply with Affirmative Action requirements, the Prevailing Wage Rate Determination, and must be qualified by the Department of the Treasury if the cost of work exceeds $20,000, with appropriate documentation submitted with the bid. Each bid must include a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check for 10% of the total bid amount, not to exceed $20,000. All required forms must be completed and submitted, and failure to do so may result in disqualification. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities.
