Bid No. 2526-05 is for restroom renovations at various schools. Bidders must be prequalified by the New Jersey Division Property Management and Construction in either General Construction (C008) or General Construction/Alterations & Additions (C009). All work is subject to Affirmative Action Against Discrimination, Prevailing Wage Rate Determination, and requires submission of several documents with the bid, including: Prequalification Affidavit, NOTICE OF CLASSIFICATION, certified Total Amount of Uncompleted Contracts Form, Affidavit confirming no material adverse change in qualification, a bid bond, cashier's check or certified check for 10% of the bid (not to exceed $20,000), and a list of stockholders owning 10% or more of corporate stock. A valid Contractor's Registration Certificate is mandatory. All required forms must be completed and submitted for the bid to be considered. Failure to comply with the instructions or provide the necessary documentation may result in disqualification and rejection of the bid. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
