the following project: 2025 AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN - DRAINAGE AND FLOOD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT - S. 3RD ST., S. 2ND ST., BAY TERRACE, S. 1ST ST., N. 2ND ST, N. 4TH ST., N. 9TH ST., N. 11TH ST. AND N. 12TH ST. , BOROUGH OF SURF CITY: The purpose of this project is to provide drainage and flood improvements including the mill and overlay of eight (8) roadways and reconstruction of one (1) roadway in the Borough of Surf City. Work shall include approximately 6,760 square yards pavement removal, 6,970 square yards dense grade aggregate, 22,446 square yards milling, 6,154 tons hot mix asphalt, 242 linear feet drainage pipe, 36 drainage structures, 1,672 linear feet concrete curb, 762 square yards driveway restoration, pavement striping, turf repair and all other necessary work to complete the project, as specified (check made payable to Owen, Little & Associates). Official documents must be purchased from Owen, Little & Associates for Bid Submission. No downloaded documents will be accepted, as we cannot guarantee accuracy. A BID BOND drawn to the order of the Borough of Surf City in an amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the amount of the Bid, but no more than $20,000.00, must be submitted with the proposal as BID SECURITY, pursuant to Local Public Contract Law (LPC) 40A:11-21. Bids may be submitted by mail or in person at any time prior to the time for receiving and opening the same. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. The Borough of Surf City reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any and all bids. Question Deadline 08/27/2025: Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to the Engineer.
