The work includes site clearing, demolition and disposal of 773 linear feet (LF) of timber bulkhead, 94 LF of vinyl bulkhead, outfall pipes, concrete and asphalt surfaces, and related materials. Construction encompasses 867 LF of vinyl bulkhead, 200 cubic yards of suitable backfill, 94 LF of 8" PVC outfall, 30 LF of 12" outfall pipe, three 8" tide valves, one 12" tide valve, 18 LF curb restoration, 8 square yards of sidewalk restoration, 324 square yards of pavement restoration, and 1305 square yards of stone restoration as well as all other incidental work necessary. Prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the job site prior to submitting a bid. Contract Specification Documents must be obtained from the Borough Engineer's office for official submission. No downloaded documents are accepted. A bid bond equal to ten percent of the bid amount, not exceeding $20,000, is required as bid security. Bids may be submitted by mail or in person prior to the opening. Bidders must comply with referenced state requirements.
