The City of Winston-salem Desires to Engage a Qualified Firm for Professional Consulting Services to Conduct a Low Water Crossing and Bridge Feasibility Study for Salem Creek Greenway. This is a Request for LOI (letters of interest) from qualified firms to provide professional consulting services for the Salem Creek Greenway Low Water Crossing and Bridge Feasibility Study, with the goal of preventing flooding of the Salem Creek Greenway and improving access across Salem Creek for the movement of pedestrians, bicyclists, and other users of the greenway. This proposal is for services to provide conceptual design for the relocation of the Salem Creek Greenway and for replacing the low water crossing with a new elevated crossing. The primary/subconsultant firms shall be pre-qualified by NCDOT and be familiar with the required paperwork submittals for State and Federal projects. All questions concerning this RFQ/LOI or the scope of work should be submitted in writing to Catherine Knisley at catherinek@cityofws.org by the End of Question period of 12:00 pm, August 27, 2025. This RFQ will in no manner be construed as a commitment on the part of the City to award a contract. The City reserves the right to reject any or all applications; to waive minor irregularities in the RFQ/LOI process or in the applications; to re-advertise this RFQ/LOI; to postpone or cancel this process; select and procure parts of services; and to change or modify the RFQ/LOI schedule at any time. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
