Holland Channel Stage 1 Improvements Question Deadline 09/26/2025 at 5:00 PM PT Online Q&A : Yes Liquidated Damages : $2,500 per Calendar Day Project Duration : Ninety-Five (95) Working Days After Notice to Proceed SCOPE OF THE WORK The work generally consists of demolition of all, or portions of existing storm drain improvements, excavation and construction of an earthen channel, a reinforced concrete box culvert, headwalls, wingwalls, RCP installations, existing storm drains connecting to RCB improvements, concrete slope paving and concrete transition structures, access roads and fencing. SWPPP and control and diversion of storm water are to be performed by others. The contractor is responsible for cooperation and coordination with those contractors, owner and others as required to ensure that work is performed and the contractors scheduling is appropriate for the weather conditions. Clearing and grubbing is considered minor and costs to perform that work shall be included in the various bid items. Project Site Maintenance is also not a separate Bid Item but it is the responsibility of the Contractor to maintain the site per Section 6.5 of the MOU at no additional cost to the project. The Cost of all work necessary for the completion of a particular item shall be included in the price bid for the item unless the work is specifically included in another item. In addition, the price bid for the project shall include all costs to construct the project in accordance with the Plans and Specifications.
