The work to be done, in general, shall include furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals, unless otherwise specified, to construct the waterline complete in place in accordance with the Plans and Specifications. The project involves the construction of a potable waterline and appurtenances consisting of approximately, 1,470 linear feet of 12-inch Ductile Iron Pipe and 90 linear feet of 8-inch Ductile Iron Pipe, and Bore and Jack 200 linear feet of 24-inchinch steel casing pipe, as awarded by the City under Bid Schedule "A". This project has specific requirements for crossing BNSF railroads. Refer to Section 5-7.2.10 Railroad Safety and Section 307-1.1.1 BNSF Requirement. The project is located within the Right-of-Way of Magnolia Avenue, Pierce Street, Sterling Avenue and Taylor Street within the City of Riverside as shown on Drawing D5-2416374. Work hours for this project shall accommodate the bell schedule for the nearby Hillcrest High School and the adult school on Pierce Street. Normal work hours shall be 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday, except on Tuesday with reduced work hours from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Work hours shall be further reduced for minimum school days and finals, which is anticipated during a week in December 2025 and a week in May 2026. The exact work hours for the school finals will be determined and subject to adjustment with the published 2025/26 bell schedule by the Alvord School District. The City is committed to reducing its environmental footprint through its preferred method of document sharing. The use of digital mediums is encouraged, and the City requests that any printed material be produced on 100% recyclable paper. The City also encourages the use of online meetings and email, along with the utilization of Adobe signature for all document needs.
