Renovation of a municipal facility in Riverside, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
**As of November 21, 2025, the project was awarded to Custom Craft Flooring, with an awarded amount of $126,980.61** Jurupa Valley City Hall - Interior Floor Replacement Project The removal and replacement of existing workstations, along with the replacement of interior flooring, including but not limited to flooring demolition, subfloor preparation, installation of Luxury Vinyl Tile and carpet, finish trim installation, and final site cleanup, all in accordance with the plans and specifications. Due to City Hall's status as an active government facility, all work shall be performed in carefully planned phases to ensure minimal disruption to public services and daily operations. The contractor shall coordinate each phase of work with the Department of Public Works, maintaining public access to open areas at all times and scheduling disruptive activities outside of peak business hours whenever possible. Work areas shall be isolated and secured to protect staff, visitors, and equipment, and noise, dust, and other construction impacts shall be minimized throughout the project. All work shall be performed during the agreed-upon hours approved by the Department of Public Works. The contractor must maintain safe public access routes to all open City Hall areas during construction. No phase may begin until the prior phase is substantially complete and accepted by the City's Project Manager. Any changes to the approved schedule must be submitted in writing for approval by the Department of Public Works. Project Duration: 90 Days Question Deadline 09/22/2025 at 3:00 PM PT Online o Demolition and Removal - 5,018 SQFT 1. Remove and properly dispose of existing flooring and associated materials in areas identified. 2. Removal of approx. 475 SQFT of subfloor and replace with 3/4 in plywood. o Surface Preparation 1. Prepare subfloor surfaces in accordance with manufacturer specifications for new flooring installation. o Flooring Installation - 5,018 SQFT 1. Install new commercial-grade Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) flooring in hightraffic areas shown in Exhibit A. 2,596 SQFT 1. Public Areas: 1,930 SQFT 2. Employee Area: 218 SQFT 3. Future Break Room: 448 SQFT 2. Install new commercial-grade carpet in areas identified. 2,422 SQFT 1. City Council Chambers: 2,422 SQFT o Finish Trim Installation 1. Install new baseboards and transition strips where applicable. o Site Cleanup 1. Perform thorough site cleanup and restore all work areas to their original condition. Demolition and Removal - 18,317 SQFT 1. Remove and properly dispose of existing flooring and associated materials in areas identified. 2. Breakdown and reinstall office desk and cubicles in designated work areas. 1. Approx 30 Cubicle stations 2. Approx 20 Offices o Surface Preparation 1. Prepare subfloor surfaces in accordance with manufacturer specifications for new flooring installation. 2. Replace approximately 1,088 sq ft of subfloor with 3/4 in plywood. o Flooring Installation - 18,317 SQFT 1. Install new commercial-grade Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) flooring in hightraffic areas identified. 4,095 SQFT 1. Public Area: 1,930 SQFT 2. Employee Areas: 1,457 SQFT 3. Future Break Room and Kitchens: 708 SQFT 2. Install new commercial-grade carpet in areas identified. 14,222 SQFT Flooring Specifications o LVT Flooring: 5mm thickness with 20 mil wear layer minimum, glued down. o Carpet Tile Flooring: Commercial-grade carpet with moisture barrier backing. o Color/Style: To be selected by the City from available standard commercial options that meet specifications. o Include 4-inch cove rubber baseboards throughout. o Use of low-VOC adhesives and materials is required. o The manufacturer's warranty must be for a minimum of 10 years.
