Renovation of a transportation facility in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
This project is located at the Cheyenne Regional Airport, Cheyenne, Wyoming. The project includes Card Access Control System and Intrusion Detection System (IDS) Replacement. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Scope The selected contractor shall install and make operational a fully functional security system that will incorporate an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and a proximity card based Access Control System (ACS). The security system must have the ability to be remotely accessed by other field locations through a network, modem or another form of communication. The system shall be Underwriters Laboratory (UL) rated. The IDS shall be monitored by the appropriate Federal Protective Service (FPS) Megacenter Monitoring Station. Installation of cabling equipment, testing and training associated with the security system shall be included. Work shall be coordinated with the General Contractor and other Sub Contractors to meet the intended construction schedule. Under normal circumstances it isrequired that the system will be operated at least one week before occupying the space. Vendor will provide 8 hours of user training, along with user manuals, software, and keys (as appropriate) for all systems.
