The Project consists of rehabilitation of the existing two-million-gallon Reservoir #1. Rehabilitation will occur on the column channels, roof framing supports, roof channel beams, roof hatches, ground level access ways, exterior ladder, silt rings, and repainting of the interior and exterior. Work also includes a new ladder and roof vent on the auxiliary tank. Detailed work is highlighted in the Middleton Tank Rehabilitation drawings. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Reservoir Rehabilitation Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the City as a plan holder by sending an email request to be added to Ashley Wolgast (awolgast@kellerassociates.com), even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format.The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. Bidder will be responsible for checking designated website for addenda and other project information prior to submitting a bid. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashiers check or cash in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the City of Middleton as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. City of Middleton reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of City of Middleton. It is the responsibility of the Bidder to visit the Site and conduct a thorough visual examination of the Site and adjacent areas. During the visit the Bidder must not disturb any ongoing operations at the Site. B. A Site visit is scheduled following the pre-bid conference. Question Deadline 10/07/2025 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
