Project Description: (includes but not limited to the following) Remove and replace orchestra pit lift mechanism, north and south lobby restroom slab replacement and ADA upgrades, install new fixtures, finishes & lighting, new dressing room and ADA single occupant bathroom, north and south lobby slab demolition and replacement with new concrete slab with micro piles, new main exterior door, additional of egress lighting & illuminated exit signs with battery backup, replacement of branch circuits and provide emergency circuits for sump pumps, replacement of below grade and exterior electrical work, under slab waterproofing and below grade concrete crack/joint injection, mechanical equipment upgrades, audio visual improvements, and painting of exterior. Questions concerning the Bid should be submitted via Online no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2025. Inquiries or questions based on alleged patent ambiguity of the plans, specifications or estimate must be communicated as a bidder inquiry prior to bid opening. 4. To bid on this Project, the Bidder and all subcontractors are required to be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to the Labor Code. The Bidder's and all subcontractors' registration must remain active throughout the term of the Contract. 5. A Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount payable to the County of Marin shall accompany the Proposal. 6. Award of contract, if awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder whose proposal complies with prescribed requirements, and will be within thirty (30) days after receipt of proposals. The Board of Supervisors of the County of Marin reserves the right to reject any or all bids and the right to waive any irregularities. 7. The provisions of California Public Contract Code 22300, regarding substitution of securities for monies withheld to ensure performance shall apply to this contract. 8. This project is to be advertised pursuant to Public Contract Code 22037. 2. The Contractor shall possess a valid General "A" or "B" at time of bid submittal.
