Reference Number 0000398983 Purchase Type Duration: 2 years The Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District ("Midpen") is pleased to announce the opportunity to provide environmental and engineering consulting services to support the improvement of an instream stockpond located in Miramontes Ridge Open Space Preserve in San Mateo County, California. The project and scope of work will include design and permitting. This procurement will also serve to qualify consultants for future, unanticipated design work for Midpen for a period of up to four years, The purpose of this project is to design and permit spillway improvements that safely convey peak flows up to at least a 100-year storm event while maintaining the pond's habitat value. The consultant will support the District in developing a feasible, cost-effective design that improves flood resilience without compromising ecological function. The consultant will provide environmental consulting services for: Phase I (Design and Permitting): Review of existing studies, preparation of design plans, and permit applications.
