The scope of work shall consist of repair and resurfacing of certain streets in the Furnas Forge Subdivision within the Village of Corwin, Warren County Ohio. Specifically the following streets: Sun Ridge Drive and Sun Ridge Way (approx. 4480' long X 25' wide); Anvil Drive (approx. 1380' long X 25' wide); Forge Drive (approx. 475'long X 25'wide); Bellow Court (approx. 273' long X 25' wide); Rivers Edge Court ( approx. 130' long X 25' wide); Cabin Drive (approx. 282' long X 25' wide); Catkin Court (approx. 1323' long X 24' wide); and Rising Sun Court (approx. 958' long X 25' wide); shall have the existing asphalt milled at 1 1/2 inch; install new asphalt approximately 1 1/2 inch, roll, and compact finish all streets. Each contractor is required to furnish with its proposal, a bid guaranty (10% of the bid amount) which may be returned to an unsuccessful bidder, and a contract bond (100% of the bid amount) in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party, individual, or company submitting the proposal and all persons and subcontractors that are interested therein. All bidders must comply with all local, state, and federal tax laws, workers compensation laws, prevailing wage rates, OSHA, and department of labor regulations. The Village of Corwin reserves the right to accept the lowest and best bid, to reject all bids, to waive any irregularities in bids and to amend the bid notice. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope identified as "Village of Corwin, Furnas Forge Resurfacing Project" and must have the full name, contact number, e-mail, and address of the bidder on the envelope.
