Renovation of a municipal facility in Westfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 1,400-square-foot municipal facility.
Installation of Polished Floor Contractor Qualification Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Any questions regarding this bid should be directed to: Tammy Tefft, Director of Purchasing, 413- 572-1708 (fax) or t.tefft@cityofwestfield.org. o Provide all labor, equipment and travel to complete all work including full cleanup of site. o Shall attend pre construction meeting with City to cover scope of work on project site to be completed. o Prevailing Labor Wage Rates must be included in the quote. o The purpose of this project is to install a polished floor system at the DPW offices located at 28 Sackett Street, Westfield, MA. The surface area shall be approximately 1400 square feet. The finished color shall be natural concrete or similar after approval from the City. A refined 400 grit finish followed by a high speed burnishing process up to 800 grit o The existing carpet and adhesives shall be removed in conjunction with this project. o A 4" vinyl cove base shall be installed o Work shall be performed Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm unless otherwise agreed to by the City. o Price shall be a lump sum price including all costs for labor, parts, materials and equipment needed to complete the project. o Contractor will be shown specific dumpster to use for clean up.
