Renovation of a municipal facility in Westfield, Massachusetts. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
WGELD Building Renovations DESCRIPTION: Westfield Gas + Electric Dept. will be performing interior renovations to their existing facility at 99 Medeiros Way, Westfield MA. The renovation consists of the installation of new office and warehouse space which will include complete fit-out of a newly constructed steel framed pre-engineered building ADA bathrooms, storage area and all site development work including earthwork and site improvements. Work on site will begin in December 2025 The total estimated cost of the Project is approximately $13,000,000 and the construction duration is nine to twelve (9-12) months The Westfield Gas + Electric Department, through its Trade Contractor Prequalification Committee, is pre-qualifying firms interested in providing public Trade Contractor services on this Public General Contractor (Ch. 149) project for the WGELD Building Renovations project through this RFQ process. Information on the prequalification process, evaluation format and evaluation criteria are provided in the RFQ. Only pre-qualified firms will be permitted to submit bids for the category of work in which they were pre-qualified.
