Request for Qualifications for Trade Contractor and General Contractor Packages MGL Chapter 149 Trade Contractor Statement of Qualifications Forms from interested Trade Contractors are sought for the following categories of work: Westfield Gas + Electric requests qualified and experienced Trade Contractors and General Contractors Westfield Gas + Electric Dept. will be performing interior renovations to their existing facility The renovation consists of the installation of new office and warehouse space which will include complete fit-out of a newly constructed steel framed pre-engineered building ADA bathrooms, storage area and all site development work including earthwork and site improvements. Work on site will begin in December 2025. construction duration is nine to twelve (9-12) months. The project will be subject to the minimum wage rates set under the Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Laws. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) will be used for the procurement process as set forth in M.G.L. Chapter 149. The Westfield Gas + Electric Department, through its Trade Contractor Prequalification Committee, is pre-qualifying firms interested in providing public Trade Contractor services on this Public General Contractor (Ch. 149) project for the WGELD Building Renovations project through this RFQ process. Information on the prequalification process, evaluation format and evaluation criteria are provided in the RFQ.
