The work will be funded by FEMA and the Borough of Milford. The major construction items include: Base Bid: remove and relocate boulders 150 c.y.; live stake restoration with willow tree chutes 1,500 s.f. riparian zone restoration 1,000 s.y. additional doc acq note: Specifications and forms of bids for the proposed work, prepared by Robert Martucci, P.E., Borough of Milford Engineer, of the firm of Martucci Engineering, LLC, have been filed in the office of said Engineer at 49 E. Main St., Flemington, New Jersey 08822 (908) 483-5415 Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 9am to 3pm, and may be inspected by prospective bidders during business hours. Calls to Engineer cell phone will not be answered. The Borough shall reserve the right to award the Base Bid or to reject all bids in accordance with the Local Public Contracts Law. Bids must be made on standard proposal forms in the manner designated therein, and required by the specifications, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes, bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the Borough of Milford, 30 Water Street, Milford, New Jersey 08848 and must be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, providing said check or bid bond need not be more than $20,000.00 nor shall not be less than $500.00, and be delivered at the place on or before the hour named above. Bidders are required to conform to all provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law, the Prevailing Wage Act and the requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127.
