Site work for a water / sewer project in Floyd, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Floyd county board of supervisors is accepting bids for a new 8" double wall stainless steel flue for the boiler located at the floyd county ems station #1, 452 floyd hwy north, floyd va. 24091. The old masonry flue has been removed, except for the section from the boiler to the outside wall, this section will be removed by the awarded contractor. Work to be completed within two weeks of signed contract. This location operates 24/7 so job can be viewed at any time. The new flue shall be a full replacement from the boiler to 4 feet above the high side of the flue where it meets the roof, roughly 17". Floyd county reserves the right to reject all bids and may negotiate fees in accordance with funding availability.
