Renovation of a municipal facility in Chatsworth, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade municipal facility.
The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material, and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in the Contract Documents. The estimated major item quantities are: 1. Shingle Roof Replacement (1 Lump Sum), 2. Vinyl Siding Replacement (1 Lump Sum), 3. Roofing Decking (If and Where Directed) (1,300 SF), 4. Siding Sheathing (If and Where Directed) (15,000 SF). Bids must be made on the standard Proposal form and enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Bid Bond, or Cashier's Check for ten percent (10%) of the total bid, up to $20,000.00, along with an executed consent form from an approved surety company agreeing to furnish the required Performance and Maintenance Bond upon award. All bids must be submitted on the prescribed bid forms. Bid securities will be returned to all but the three apparent lowest responsible bidders. The accepted bidder must sign the contract within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award or forfeit bid security. Contractors are required to pay prevailing wage rates as per the Act, and comply with relevant state laws and requirements, including Affirmative Action Law, Business Registration Act, and Public Works Contractor Registration Act. The Township of Woodland reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals or waive informalities as permitted by law.
