All bids shall be opened in the presence of the inBYLT, LLC or the designated representative of Fridley School District for the furnishing of all labor and materials and all else necessary for the following work at the Fridley Middle School: 1) Window Replacement 2) Locker Room Remodel 3) Pool Work 4) Restroom Remodel Project Includes Renovation of pool & locker rooms, replacement of windows and renovation of restrooms. PROJECT DESCRIPTION A. Project Includes Renovation of pool & locker rooms, replacement of windows and renovation of restrooms. Contractor to provide secure access around the construction areas where applicable to prevent students and staff from getting into the work area. This area to be lockable since building will be occupied during this time. 1.03 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS OF CONTRACTS A. Extent of Contract: Unless the Agreement contains a more specific description of the Work of each Contract, requirements indicated on Drawings and in Specification Sections determine which contract includes a specific element of Project. 1. Unless otherwise indicated, the work described in this Section for each contract shall be complete systems and assemblies, including products, components, accessories, and installation required by the Contract Documents. 2. Main building permit is the responsibility of the General Contract. Each trade is responsible for permit requirements for their own work. 3. Trenches and other excavations shall be provided under each contract for its own work. Each contract will be responsible for their own trenches and excavation. 4. Blocking, backing, panels, sleeves, and metal fabrication supports for the work of each contract shall be the work of each bid package for its own work. 5. Furnishing of access panels for the work of each contract shall be the work of each contract for its own work. 6. Equipment pads for the work of each contract shall be the work of each contract for its own work. 7. Roof-mounted equipment curbs for the work of each contract shall be the work of each contract for its own work. 8. Painting for the work of each contract shall be the work of the General Contract. 9. Cutting, Coring and Patching: Each contract shall perform its own cutting and core drilling; patching shall be under the General Contract. 10.
