Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Yakima, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Nob Hill Boulevard 28th Avenue to 40th Avenue Paving and Water Main, City of Yakima Project No. 2799AT & AC2853, HLA Project No. 25044 including the following approximate major quantities of work: This project will rehabilitate the pavement on Nob Hill Boulevard including approximately 24,000 SY of planing, 4,000 TON HMA, 1,300 LF of curb and gutter, ADA curb ramp replacements, 4,750 LF water main, 7 EA fire hydrants, 27 EA water service connections, pressure reducing valve assembly and vault, utility adjustments, catch basin frame and grate replacements, pavement markings, and other work as needed to rehabilitate the pavement and install a new water main. This contract has one hundred (100) working days to complete the work. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Small, Minority- and Women-owned firms are encouraged to submit bids. The project is funded through the Federal Highway Administration with federal funds from the National Highway Systems (NHS). All Federal Highway Administration requirements and/or provisions must be met by the Contractor and all subcontractors. All contractors must be licensed to conduct business in Washington State. The City of Yakima reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities or irregularities, and after careful consideration of all bids and factors involved, make the award to best serve the interests of the City of Yakima. Each Bid or Proposal Must Be Accompanied by Bond or a Certified Check, Payable to the Order of the Treasurer of the City of Yakima for the Sum of Not Less Than 5% of Said Bid or Proposal and None Will Be Considered Unless Accompanied by Such Deposit, to Be Forfeited to the City of Yakima in the Event the Successful Bidder Shall Fail or Refuse to Enter Into a Contract With the City for the Making and Construction of the Aforesaid Improvement.
