**As of October 15th, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Marion Bus Stops City of Marion provided a project overview using the RFP documents. Went over the easement and acquisition areas, project schedule, project funding sources, etc. Items to highlight: 1. Both projects contain federal funds for construction. These funds are for construction only and are currently available. City matching funding, as well as funding for the consultant services will be paid using Local Option Sales Tax. 2. The goal is to complete design, environmental, and acquisitions in 2026, this would allow a summer of 2027 construction start. 3. Overall project limits were discussed.
