The City of Marion, Iowa is seeking bids for supplying and installing six (6) new non-contact sanitary sewer flow monitors / loggers and flow sensors. The work includes installation of four (4) recording devices and sewer flow monitors/loggers, including brackets and/or retention cables required for installation. Two (2) uninstalled recording devices and sewer flow monitors/loggers, including brackets and/or retention cables required for installation, shall be delivered to Marion Public Works for future installation. Installation fees for the future installation shall be agreed upon by both parties at that time. Installation locations will be provided by the City. Vendor shall provide operational and software training at the Public Works facility or onsite at installation locations. All equipment and services shall meet manufacturers specifications and applicable standards. Vendor shall provide loaner or rental equipment at no cost to the city until repaired equipment is reinstalled and operational; if rental fees apply, costs must be mutually agreed. Vendor shall notify the City when all components are received from the manufacturer to schedule installation and provide estimated lead time for all components. Vendor must complete a Confined Space Entry Permit with the Marion Fire Department before entering sanitary sewer manholes and provide all required equipment for confined space entry, including, but not limited to, tri-pod, harnesses, and gas detection equipment. Vendor shall remove and deliver all components from existing sites, and the City shall retain all used components.
