Site work for a mixed-use development in Marion, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot; and one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Sealed bids are requested for work in accordance with the plans and specifications for the Indian Creek Access - Site 1 Project. The projects general nature includes 272 LF of 4 PVC SDR 23.5 Sewer Service, 1,892.6 SY of 6 PCC Pavement, 2,143.4 SY of Modified Subbase, 585.6 SY of 4 PCC Sidewalk, 1 Light Pole, 1,110 SF of Streambank Stabilization, Flexamat, and miscellaneous related work and appurtenances. All proposals must be filed on forms furnished by the City, sealed, and plainly marked. Each bid must include bid security as specified, a completed Targeted Small Business (TSB) Pre-Bid Contact Information Form, and a signed resident status statement. Alterations of the proposal form may result in rejection. Successful bidders will furnish a corporate surety bond equal to 100% of the contract price and must post a maintenance bond or pay 1.5% of the final contract amount to pay for the applicable maintenance bond. Payment will be made from available funds; items incorporated are exempt from State of Iowa Sales Tax, and tax should not be included in bid prices. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities.
