The general nature of the work on which bids are requested is: 1,131 SY of pavement removal, 1,131 SY of Bridge Approach (BR-201, BR-211, BR-231), 4 EA of Concrete Barrier Tapered End Section (BA-108), 175.4 LF of Paving Notch Replacement, 1 Beam Repair, 5 SY of Class A Deck Repair, 1,785 SY of Bridge Deck Sealing, 39.8 STA of Painted Pavement Markings (Solvent/Waterborne), 11 EA Painted Symbols and Legends, and miscellaneous related work and appurtenances in accordance with the contract documents. Said bond to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the City Council and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the contract and the terms and conditions therein contained and shall guarantee the prompt payment of all material and labor and protect and save harmless the City from claims and damages of any kind caused by the operations of the contract. Work shall commence no later than July 6th, 2026, and be completed within 50 working days. Liquidated damages in the amount of $1,000.00 per working day will be assessed for work not completed within this time.
