No definite date for the rebid.** The Town of Walkersville seeks quotes from qualified contractors or design-build firms to construct a single-story, handicap-accessible multipurpose building with a total area of approximately 2,500 square feet. The goal of this project is to provide a flexible, accessible community space for public use. Project Scope and Requirements The proposed facility shall include, but is not limited to, the following spaces and features: Dining Hall to accommodate approximately 120 people Food Preparation and Warming Area with a serving station Storage Room Four (4) Multipurpose Rooms Two (2) Office Areas Two (2) ADA-Compliant Restrooms Janitor Closet Lobby/Reception Area with coat storage The design should emphasize accessibility, energy efficiency, and compliance with all applicable building codes, ADA standards, and Town of Walkersville regulations.
