Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment, and perform all work necessary and incidental to providing a complete mowing program for the following locations: Heritage Farm Park (145 acres), Community Park (27 acres), Creamery Park (3 acres), Gilmore Trout Memorial Park (2 acres), and Pennsylvania Ave (9 acres). An hourly rate must also be provided for mowing private properties not in compliance with Town grass height ordinances and other areas as necessary. The hourly rate will be used if the Town needs to include additional sites for regular mowing under this contract. Sealed bids must be delivered and addressed to the Town of Walkersville and clearly labeled. No oral, telegraphic, electronic, facsimile, or telephonic bids or modifications will be considered. Late bids will be returned unopened. Specifications can be obtained by contacting the Town. A pre-bid conference is scheduled, and all interested parties are encouraged to attend to obtain clarifications. The contract term is for one year, with an option to renew annually for up to five years at the sole discretion of the Town. Question Deadline 11/27/2025 Questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing, either by mail or email, to Yunellis Morales-Matias, Town of Walkersville at P.O. Box 249, 21 W. Frederick Street or accounting@walkersvillemd.gov and shall arrive at least four (5) working days before the Submittal Deadline.
