Invitation is made to have qualified bidders submit bid proposals for the following work categories to construct the new Washington Woods Middle School: Building Concrete, Masonry, Structural & Miscellaneous Steel, General Trades, Roofing, Aluminum & Glazing, Drywall & Acoustical, Flooring, Painting, Miscellaneous Specialties, Signage, Exterior Court Equipment, Millwork, Casework, & Countertops, Fire Suppression, Plumbing & Pipefitting, HVAC, Building Controls, Electrical & Fire Alarm, Audiovisual Systems, Access Control & Security, Earthwork & Site Utilities, Site Concrete, Asphalt Paving, and Fencing. Bid proposals are requested and will be received as a “single lump sum proposal.” Bids must be submitted via BuildingConnected. Bid security in the form of bonds is required with all proposals. A certified check is acceptable bid security only for proposals less than $50,000. The electronic bid form must disclose any familial relationship between the bidder or any employee of the bidder and any member of Holt Public Schools. If such a relationship exists, a sworn and notarized statement on the firm’s letterhead disclosing that relationship must be uploaded with the bid submission. All questions, Pre-Bid RFIs, and Substitution Requests must be submitted via BuildingConnected Messages prior to the specified deadline. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to accept other than a low bid, and to waive informalities, irregularities and/or errors in proposals, which they feel is in their best interest.
