As of December 04, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on  Dec. 18th Board Meeting. Benicia High School Hardscaping and Z Building Modular Upgrades: Only General Contractors and MEP Subcontractors who have been pre-qualified to bid projects at Benicia Unified School District are eligible to submit a bid. Each bid must be completed on the bid Proposal Form and conform to the invitation, plans, and specifications. Bids must be accompanied by cash, a cashier's or certified check, or a bidder's bond in an amount not less than ten percent of the maximum amount of the bid. The successful bidder must provide payment and performance bonds and insurance certificates within ten days after notification of award. The bidder must comply with prevailing wage laws and apprenticeship/training programs as specified by the Department of Industrial Relations and pay not less than the specified rates. The bid must include the name and location of each subcontractor performing work valued at more than one-half of one percent of the bid price and describe the type of work to be performed by each listed subcontractor. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days after the opening date. Minority, women, and disabled veteran contractors are encouraged to submit bids. The project is subject to Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise and prevailing wage requirements. Each bidder must possess at the time the bid is awarded a B classification California State Contractor's license. Attendance at a mandatory bidders' conference is required to submit a bid. Pre-qualification requirements: Only General Contractors and MEP Subcontractors pre-qualified to bid projects at Benicia Unified School District are eligible to submit a bid. Each bidder must possess a B classification California State Contractor's license at the time the bid is awarded and attend the mandatory bidders' conference. The Contractor agrees to provide new concrete hardscaping in the vicinity of the prior R buildings and Z Modular Building upgrades as delineated in the construction document. Work includes, but is not limited to, concrete hardscaping; building upgrades including but not limited to: flooring, dryrot repair, new roofing, tackboards, ceiling upgrades, etc as per the construction documents.
