Renovation of a fire / police facility in Groton, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade fire / police facility.
Installation of a new single wall stainless steel chimney extension, onto an existing clay tile and brick masonry chimney. To include the installation of six (6) guy wires on the extended chimney. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope and designated as bid for “POLICE DEPARTMENT CHIMNEY EXTENSION”. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for opening of bids. Any bid received after the time and date specified will be returned unopened. Each bidder must deposit, with his bid, security in the form of bid bond or certified check subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Town of Groton reserves the right to waive any formalities or to reject any or all bids. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
