The project involves a competitive one-step process to retain up to three contractors for a Job Order Contract (JOC) to provide labor relating to the maintenance and removal of unsafe and diseased trees at City facilities, City-owned properties, and City rights-of-way. Job Order pricing may be requested from all selected contractors when practical, with emergency cases assigned to the contractor most able to respond. The contract term is five years, with services requested on an as-needed, if-needed basis and is not exclusive nor a commitment that services will be needed. Firms are invited to submit written Statements of Qualifications for evaluation based on experience with similar projects. Submittals must comply with the RFQ criteria. Late submittals will be returned unopened. The City reserves the right to reject any or all submissions and waive informalities. All information in specific submittals will remain confidential until a contract is finalized or all submittals are rejected.
