**As of November 25, 2025, the project was awarded to A & J Cement Contractors Inc. but the awarded amount is not available.** Sealed bid proposals are sought for the 2026-2028 Curb Program. Bids must include the full names of all parties involved, an affidavit as to interested parties, and, for corporations not chartered in Ohio, a certificate authorizing them to do business in Ohio. Each bid must also be accompanied by a bond or a certified or cashier's check, made payable to the City of Shaker Heights, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the first year bid (2026). The bond or check will be held as a guarantee of contract execution if the bid is accepted, with forfeiture to the City as liquidated damages in the event of default. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and accept the bid deemed most favorable. Minority Business Enterprises, Female Business Enterprises, and Small Business Enterprises are encouraged to submit bids.
